Welcome to Ms. Sullivan's Homepage!

I'm so pleased and honored to be working at Rosebud-Lott High School. I began teaching almost 13 years ago and have enjoyed working with students throughout the years to teach, counsel, inspire and motivate. I hope for many more years to teach young minds how to think and grow with the changing environments around them.

A Little about Me:
I graduated from Baylor University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. For the next three years, I worked in the publishing world as an editor, writer and photographer. I have helped run Public Relations campaigns and documented events through photography. I became a long term substitute for a friend in an Austin, Texas high school and fell in love with teaching. From there, I was alternatively certified and began teaching English and Reading here at Rosebud-Lott HS. I moved briefly to Waco and worked at LaVega High School in Bellmead, but returned to Rosebud-Lott.

My Class:
I currently teach English I and II, emphasizing skills needed for the STAAR End of Course exams, but also problem-solving and thinking skills that can be used in everyday activity. I also teach Yearbook, where students learn skills valuable for publishing and communications careers. As a co-Cheer Coach, I help teach the cheerleaders leadership and bonding skills that can be used in personal and professional worlds.

I am looking forward to a GREAT school year!
